Happy First Birthday Emily!

We have taken a long hiatus from posting, mostly due to not living at home for a long time.  My goal this summer is to get back into the habit of posting something about the girls once a month.  I figured Emily's first birthday would be a great place to start! We had a great day at Peace Valley Park. Emily and Maggie had a blast!  We can't believe Emily is one already and she is doing so much! Walking, saying Mama and Dada, and climbing everything!!!

December 2013

We had an amazing December! I think every weekend was filled with family and adventure.  The girls eagerly awaited Christmas! We got our tree, met Santa, and decorated the house.  Maggie even joined MumMum, Aunt Ryry and Mommy on our yearly shopping trip - which really is a trip to Cheese Cake Factory.  We played in the snow and spent time with our cousins.  The month flew by and we had so much fun!  It was a great first Christmas for Emily and Maggie really showed her the ropes!  We can't wait for what the next month brings!

November 2013

November was filled with lots of family and Thanksgiving fun!  We had a great month that ended with a full family Thanksgiving!  We had the Dennis, Kohns, McShanes, Julians and Elkins families all under one roof at Aunt Kari and Uncle Josh's house. Kari did a great job hosting and as always, there was far too much food and dessert.

October 2013

We had a great month filled with birthdays and holidays! Maggie turned three and had her first friend party. We also spent many Saturdays and Sundays at birthday parties for her friends from school.  We had a great Disney themed Halloween and imagination celebration at the girls school.

OCMD 2013

We had another awesome year at OCMD with the family! This year we added Sean, Max and Riley to the family fun!  It was Emily's first trip to the beach and she did a great job!  We can't wait to go back again next year when Maggie and Emily will both be running through the sand!

July & August

Ok, it has been a whirlwind summer, so I am going to attempt to summarize the months of July and August. Maggie and Emily had many great days by the pool with lots of visitors coming to play. Maggie went to Knoebels with the Kohn, Strauss and Elkins family.  We all took a trip up state for both family reunions and Emily won the best behaved in the car award! - better luck next year Maggie...We went to the zoo, baseball games and did a million different things! Best of all, Maggie continued to teaching Emily all about the world around her and they are the best of friends!

4th of July

We had a wonderful 4th of July at home with the Kohn and Strauss family! It was the perfect day for swimming and the kids and adults did just that...ALL day long!  All of the cousins played the day away and then we did some fireworks before bed, thanks to Uncle Josh!  It was a great day!

June 2013

It has been a wonderful first month with our beautiful Emily! Daddy and Maggie finished school and Emily and Mommy have been getting to know each other!  Our family and friends have been wonderful about helping out and Maggie has been going on some great outings with her family!  Maggie is still in love with Emily and Emily is falling in love with Maggie!

Welcome Emily Price Dennis

On May 25th at 4:41 PM we welcomed our second daughter to the Dennis family!  Emily Price Dennis weighed in at 7 pounds 4ounces and she was 21 inches long.  Maggie is over the moon for her new sister and has been an amazing helper to Mom and Dad!  She loves holding Emily and laughs at all the things Emily does.  We are very grateful to all our friends and family for all of their help in the past two weeks as we waited for new little girl to arrive!

Rebecca's Birthday Party!

We started the month of March with Rebecca's birthday party at a local bounce facility. Maggie had SO much fun playing on all the equipment and liked the slide best! Thanks for a great day Strauss family!

February 2013

Maggie enjoyed her February with lots of time with mom, dad and family.  The highlight was Eddie and Alex's birthday party. Maggie saw all her cousins and had lots of fun running around Eddie and Alex's house and playing with all the kids.  Thanks for all the fun Eddie and Alex!

It's that time of year again! Maggie's school had their annual picture day. This year's theme was Spring time!  She is growing up too fast!

Sledding!

Maggie spent her last day of 2012 learning to sled with her favorite boys, Eddie and Alex! She loved her little sled and sledding the boys and Mommy and Daddy. Thanks for a great New Years Kohn family!

Merry Christmas!

We had a wonderful Christmas with our families this year! Maggie received so many wonderful gifts, including her dinosaur, Roar, which is the only thing she asked Santa for! She also loved her Cinderella dress that Aunt Ryan got - as you can tell by the video above! We are very thankful for our families helping make this Christmas so much fun for Maggie!

Happy Halloween!

Maggie discovered that she LOVES Halloween!  Her festivities started with a trip to Sesame Place with Aunt Kari, Uncle Josh, Eddie and Alex. They wore their costumes and even went trick-or-treating!  We went trick or treating on Wednesday in Aunt Kari and Uncle Josh's neighborhood and Maggie kept up with the big kids! She filled her pumpkin to the brim and had a great time shouting trick or treat at all the neighbors!

Maggie is officially 2!

Maggie turned 2 on 10-10-10 and we had a blast celebrating this weekend! Maggie had lots of family and friends come together to celebrate her big day! It all started with a sleep over with Aunt Kari, Uncle Josh and Eddie and Alex. Maggie ALWAYS has a blast with her favorite cousins!  Thank you everyone for making Maggie's birthday so much fun!

Maggie at the Beach

Better late than never! This August the entire McShane, Kohn and Dennis family went to Ocean City, Maryland and had a blast!  Maggie fell in love with the beach and the ocean! She didn't bat an eye spending the entire day at the beach.

Knoebels & Family Reunion

July was a very busy month! We had 2 family reunions with Daddy's family and went with all our cousins to Knoebels.  Maggie had the best time hanging out with all her cousins! They sure do teach her a lot!

Crab Fest 2012!

We ended the month of June with Uncle Josh and Aunt Kari's Crab fest and Maggie had a blast!  As you can see from the pictures, she spent the entire day in the pool with all the kids from the party.  We had a great day!

June has proven to be one exhausting month! We finished school and have started our summer fun! So far, we have been to a couple birthday parties, played with every toy at our house, and went to Sesame Place with Aunt Kari, Eddie and Alex! Stay tuned for our next summer adventure!
